May Bank Holiday Weekend Camper Van Trip
We headed off on Saturday afternoon. We got as far as Rathdrum and found Hidden Valley Holiday Park. We were lucky to get a place. They were full but someone had an emergency call and had to leave.

The following day (Sunday) we headed off cross country to Bennettsbridge in County Kilkenny. We were heading for Nore Valley Park. We rang ahead this time!

The campsite incorporates an open farm. There are ostriches, deer, goats, hens out in the open. There are also some animals indoors. You can get involved in feeding them twice a day. There’s also crazy golf and pedal powered go-karts.

There’s a very pleasant walk circling the campsite: along by the Nore river, across some fields and back.

Monday we headed back up the N(M)9 after a visit to Nicholas Mosse’s place.
